Goodrich Roofing, a renowned company popular for its New Mexico roofing services, participates in the Adopt-A-Median program by Albuquerque’s city government and Solid Waste Management Department. We have made it official on August 27, 2014, when we signed the Adoption of Median and Maintenance Agreement. As part of our commitment to our community, we will be maintaining the medians on Wyoming Boulevard, north of Montgomery Boulevard, without charge.
The program encourages businesses, private citizens, and community organizations to adopt and maintain a median. Volunteers will be responsible for the beautification and maintenance works of their adopted sites. These include weeding, picking up litter, and other approved projects by the Clean City division.
What makes the program unique and attractive for many individuals and businesses is that it allows volunteers to choose the amount of support they can give to the program.
We at Goodrich Roofing have committed to sweep sidewalks and paths regularly and to collect debris and litter monthly. We will also be doing a monthly inspection of the median using the Adopt-A-Median inspection checklist. Also, we will keep an eye out for any graffiti that needs to be removed and damage that needs to be fixed. We will be reporting these issues to Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, a nationwide organization dedicated to litter prevention and graffiti eradication. All these efforts are directed toward keeping the community clean and beautiful to help the city government manage its district.
Goodrich Roofing isn’t just about roofing in New Mexico. We are also an active member of the community. We make sure to contribute our time, skills, and effort to help build a neighborhood conducive to living.
