It’s great to have a perfect roofing system that can weather whatever nature throws at it and come out without a scratch. Unfortunately, that type of roofing has yet to be invented. In the meantime, we’ll just have to deal with the storms as they come.
So, that’s why it’s important to fully respect your roof after a hailstorm. Here’s our process for roof inspection.
Hail Damage
From June through the end of September, the North American Monsoon System (NAMS) brings all types of inclement weather to New Mexico and the Southwestern States. NAMS has been responsible for dropping unusually large hailstones that have left many homes with impact damage.
Hail damage may not be noticeable at first, but they are known to gradually develop into bigger issues if left unchecked. For this reason, it’s always a good idea to get a professional inspection done if you suspect your roof may be in danger.
Professional Inspections
Scheduling an inspection with our roofers is as easy as giving us a phone call. If the forecast calls for an incoming storm, we recommend giving us a call to schedule a visit. Most roofing companies expect a rush of phone calls immediately after a storm, and if you choose to schedule then, you may have to endure a longer waiting period.
Once in your home, our inspectors will begin to assess your roof for any hail or wind damage it may have incurred. You are more than welcome to walk through with us and give us all the information about your roof that could help us properly diagnose a problem. Afterward, you can have a written report, which you may then use to file an insurance claim.
